I don't think we can slam Peele's work altogether, because he doesn't really seem to "advocate" MM but rather highlight the importance of harm reduction. Personally, i think that MM is misguided - when it comes to alcohol either someone has a progressive & chronic problem of alcoholism or they don't. Perhaps MM can help show people that they really need AA, but apart from that I don't see any possibility of an alcoholic successfully moderating his/her drinking ("...to successfully control and enjoy our drinking is <em>the great obsession</em> for us." -Big Book).
