It’s nice to know that the Drug Enforcement Agency has time to chaperone movie stars who need to do “research” for their roles.
English actress, Naomie Harris, who stars in the film Miami Vice with Colin Farrel and Jamie Foxx recently told an interviewer of her time with the Drug Enforcment Agency in the US.
“I learnt to fire machine guns and went out on an actual drug baron arrest,” she says
Greeeaaat!
Now, I am sure Miami Vice is a cinematic masterpiece and Colin Farrel puts in his usual Oscar-worthy performance, but what purpose does this baby sitting actually serve for the real war on drugs?
Is this situation actually not important enough that movie stars have enough swing that they should be allow to accompany DEA officials on drug busts?
Now many people already claim to know the answer on that one.
